SC3 - Swedish Cup Round 3
Trollhättan 26-27 July 2025

Last weekend, SMK Trollhättan hosted Round 3 of the Swedish Cup Nitro (SC3). The track, known for its consistent grip, provided an excellent setting for high-level racing, complemented by perfect weather and sunny skies throughout the event.

In the 1:8 Nitro class, Adrian Berntsen delivered a commanding performance, securing both TQ and the overall win with his Infinity IF18-3. A solid and consistent drive, showing great synergy between driver and model.

In 1:10 Nitro, Alexander Johansson continued his winning streak by claiming TQ, overall victory, and the fastest lap of the race, along with being awarded Best Junior Driver of the weekend. For this event, Alexander tested several new components on his Infinity IF15-2, which proved to be a clear improvement in terms of performance. The support from the team, especially valuable input from Jilles, played a key role. The car was on rails, showing exceptional corner speed and superior grip compared to the competition.

Alexander set a strong pace right from the start of the final, building a gap of over 14 seconds (one lap) in the first 15 minutes and maintaining full control until the checkered flag.

With this successful race behind them, focus now shifts to electric: it’s time to start preparing the new Infinity SPEC1ALE for ETS Round 3 in Luxembourg.
