NORDIC CHAMPIONSHIP 2025
Næstved 8-10 August 2025
From August 8th to 10th, the Næstved track in Denmark hosted the Nordic Championship 1/8 Onroad, with nearly 60 drivers from Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The layout, fast and high grip, combined with perfect weather conditions, provided the ideal stage for an exciting weekend of racing.
In the 1/8 class, Adrian Berntsen (Norway) set the pace from qualifying with his IF18-3, securing TQ. A technical issue forced him to start from eleventh position, but his recovery was flawless and brought him a well deserved victory. The podium was completed by Rasmus Nielsen and Peter Harder, both from Denmark, making it an all IF18-3 top three.
Bo Nielsen, also with IF18-3, was running strongly in fourth place until a flywheel failure, nine minutes before the finish, ended his race prematurely. Still, his performance underlined the speed and consistency he had shown throughout the event.
