Last weekend, the first round of the National Pro Championship took place in Locorotondo, marking an important start to the racing season. The weekend was dominated by INF1NITY drivers droving IF18-3, which delivered outstanding performances throughout the event, showing incredible speed, consistency, and competitiveness from the qualifying rounds all the way to the finals.
Leading the way was Ielasi Luca, who claimed an impressive overall victory with a flawless performance, securing the win in the opening round of the championship. His pace, consistency, and race management once again confirmed both his talent and the high level of the INF1NITY package.
The Sport category also brought great satisfaction to the team, with four IF18-3 drivers successfully reaching the Amain, highlighting the strength and reliability of the entire team during the whole weekend.
Among the standout drivers was Nadia Raiola, who earned direct access to the final thanks to two exceptional qualifying runs. Nadia secured one TQ round and a good P2 which allows direct access to the final. Her result was also made possible thanks to the valuable support and assistance of Carmine and Toty, whose work and dedication in the pits played an important role throughout the event.
Another exciting performance came from Filippo Bruno during the “Last Chance” race, the decisive race that offers drivers one final opportunity to qualify for the main final. Starting from P11, Filippo delivered an incredible comeback drive, fighting his way through the field and climbing all the way to first position in a very short time. His pace and determination demonstrated that even the most difficult recoveries are possible with the right mindset and performance. Unfortunately, in the closing minutes of the race, an engine issue forced him to retire, ending what had been one of the most spectacular drives of the weekend.
Overall, the first round in Locorotondo confirmed the strength, competitiveness, and determination of the INF1NITY team, which proved to be one of the main protagonists of the event right from the beginning of the National Pro Championship season.
