Dario Balestri has been crowned the 2025 AMSCI Italian National Champion in the 1:10 Nitro Touring Car category, following the single annual race that decides the national title. Held at the renowned Gubbio track, known for its technical layout and international prestige, the Tuscan driver once again showcased his experience and speed, securing the overall TQ by winning three out of four qualifying rounds.
The 45-minute final further confirmed his dominance: a clean and flawless performance allowed him to take the lead early on and maintain it all the way to the chequered flag. Behind him, team-mate Carmine Raiola, who started from second on the grid, had a difficult start due to an early technical issue, but managed a strong recovery to climb back to third and claim a spot on the podium.
In the Sport category, there was great satisfaction for Luca Ielasi, who took a commanding win after starting from pole. After several seasons of steady progress, the young talent is finally beginning to reap the rewards of his hard work, showing both speed in qualifying and maturity in race management. The victory in Gubbio marks a turning point in his career: starting next year, he will move up to the higher category, ready to take on the top drivers on both the national and international stage.
