INF1NITY Celebrates Double Victory at the Sunpadow International Grand Prix.
The IFB8 platform enjoyed a standout weekend in Xiamen, China, securing victories in both EP and GP categories at the Sunpadow International Grand Prix on the notoriously demanding 3 Circles track.
In EP (eBuggy), Bruno Coelho converted his TQ into the overall win with a composed and consistent drive. Despite continuous pressure from David Ronnefalk, the Portuguese driver kept control of the first two finals to seal the title. The IFB8 prototype platform also reached the podium thanks to Kouki Kato, who set the event’s fastest lap and secured third place.
The GP (Nitro) Amain delivered one of the most dramatic conclusions of the year. Driving his IFB8, Kouki Kato claimed a spectacular victory after a last lap showdown with Ronnefalk, crossing the line first in an unforgettable finish. Coelho added another strong result for the brand by taking third overall, confirming INF1NITY’s competitiveness in both classes.
A special mention goes to Indonesian customer driver Jason Nugroho, who was battling strongly for P4/P5 before an unfortunate retirement ended his run; an excellent performance on such a challenging circuit.
