CM-00020 - IFB8 EV 1/8 SCALE EP BUGGY CAR CHASSIS KIT
This is the electric evolution of the IFB8 platform. Built on the proven IFB8 drivetrain and suspension, the car has been developed through extensive prototype testing and real-world race competition. Data-driven refinement has led to a precisely optimized layout and weight balance, delivering explosive acceleration and razor-sharp cornering performance unique to the electric platform.
With compatibility across a wide range of IFB8 option parts, the platform also offers limitless customization — allowing drivers to tailor performance, handling, and character to their exact preferences.
(IFB8 EV Kit Features) Newly designed main chassis Newly designed center differential mount Newly designed motor mount Newly designed servo saver arm Newly designed front steering brace Newly designed servo tray Newly designed battery tray
<Center Diff Mount / Motor Mount> Allows easy adjustment of the backlash between the pinion gear and spur gear. The center differential can also be replaced and maintained with ease. <Servo Saver Arm> Aluminum construction designed to match the mechanical layout. <Battery Tray> CFRP construction with adjustable front-to-rear positioning for short and mid-size batteries. Enables weight balance adjustment according to the driver’s preference.
*The IFB8 EV kit does not include a servo horn. Please purchase either the M157 Aluminum Steering Servo Horn (23T) or the M158 Aluminum Steering Servo Horn (25T) separately, depending on the servo you are using.
A long version has been added to the INFINITY Hex Wrench Driver Series lineup. The new type is 20 mm longer than the previous one, allowing for a wider range of use.
The standard screws for the IF14-2 kit available in 10pcs packs. The screws used in all INFINITY kits are made of high performance steel and made in Japan. They are extremely stable and strong when tightened. Recommended not only as a spare part but also as a setting option.
The 9.5T rear spring is slightly stiffer than the stock spring (10.0T), providing added support to the rear end during acceleration and enhancing landing stability after jumps. This adjustment is especially effective for reducing rear grip or improving jump landings, offering advantages in specific driving conditions. By integrating this slightly stiffer spring, drivers can finely tune their car's handling characteristics to align with their preferences.
New stabilizer stopper for IF18-3 front stabilizer. By making the contact surface with the bearing spherical, smoother movement of the stabilizer is acheived. Durability has also been greatly improved by using steel. Available in 2.3, 2.5, and 2.7mm.
Precision-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and treated with INFINITY’s original hard coating for a lightweight, high-rigidity, and highly durable finish. Delivers sharp throttle response and consistent handling for elevated driving performance. Includes joint parts with the same material and coating as the drive shaft.
