2-SPEED SET (Double Bearing Type)

The new 2-speed transmission set features a revised spur gear mounting section, achieved through a mold modification.
The newly designed 2-speed housing supports the assembly with two different-sized bearings, providing improved precision and significantly reducing play.
The fixing area between the 2-speed hub and main shaft has also been reinforced by increasing the diameter to 12 mm and adding more material.
Despite the increased strength, the total weight of the complete unit remains virtually unchanged, from 24.8 g for the previous version to 25.1 g for the new version.
The internal diameter of the 2-speed housing has been reduced by 0.1 mm to improve shifting feel.
The shape of the adjustment openings has also been optimized, while the shoes can be installed in either leading or trailing orientation.
Adjustment openings are intentionally provided on both sides of the housing to improve rotational balance.
In addition, the 2-speed housing features a high-hardness plated surface treatment, helping to maintain a stable contact surface with the shoes over a long period of use.
The new 2-speed shoes now feature a roller-type weight system, helping to maintain more consistent shift timing.
The adjustment screws have also been increased to M4 size, making the adjustment less likely to change during operation.
The mold-revised spur gears are also compatible with the previous 2-speed system.

新型2スピードセットはスパーギヤ自体の固定部分を金型修正し、新形状2速ハウジングでサイズの異なるベアリング2個により精度よく保持。ガタつきを大幅に低減。2速ハブとメインシャフトの固定スクリュー部分を強度アップ(直径を12mmと厚肉化)しながらも、ユニット一式の重量は旧型24.8g→新型25.1gと、同レベルを維持。2速ハウジングの内径は0.1mm小径化し、変速フィーリングを向上すると共に調整穴の開口部形状を最適化し、シューの開く向きはリーディング/トレーリングのどちらにも対応可能。調整穴は、あえて反対側にも設けハウジングの回転バランスを改善。さらに2速ハウジングには高硬度メッキ処理が施され、シューとの当たり面を長期的に安定化。2速シューはウエイトをローラー式に変更。安定した変速タイミングを維持。調整スクリューもM4サイズにアップし調整がずれ難くなっている。金型修正されたスパーギヤは旧型にも使用可能 (スパーギヤは付属しません)
