Aluminum chassis exclusively for IF14-2 Team Edition. This aluminum chassis is heavier than the graphite main chassis, allowing for a lower center of gravity. The chassis is precision-machined one piece at a time from high-quality 7075 T6 material to minimize distortion and twisting after machining. The hard but moderate chassis flex characteristics are suitable for high-grip surfaces such as carpet track.
Alignment tool to accurately assemble the IF14-2 lower bulkhead, upper bulkhead and shock tower.
By mounting the body as close as possible without causing contact between the body and tires, you can improve steering characteristics and stability of the car in high-speed corners.
Spare part for floating electronic plate set. The plate can also function as a center chassis stiffener by adding one more screw to the chassis.
Adjust the chassis flex by connecting this carbon brace between the upper bulkheads on top of the top deck. This upper bulkhead brace is cut with high precision from 1mm carbon plate and can change the steering and traction characteristics by effecting the rigidity of the front or rear bulkheads.
Front of top deck: Good balance between high-speed and low-speed corner.
Rear of top deck: Good balance between rotation and traction.
Newly designed rear upright, geometry of suspension system is optimized. Toe angle is zero.
Mounting position of upper arm is optimized at higher point, shim of 2.0mm to be reduced.
Lineup of Hard & Graphite material. Hard material suits for fundamental condition and provides stable grip.
For high grip surface and expecting quick response, graphite material is recommended to use.
This is a new set of super strong and high-precision 4.9mm titanium ball ends for the IF14. Each set is about 8g lighter than the steel ones and the polished ball surface ensures the ball end moves smoothly for a long time.
An aluminum cooling fan mount that can be bolted to the floating electronic plate with a 30mm fan for motor cooling.
A lightweight DJ CVD cross spider using high strength super duralium (A7075) to reduce the weight by approx 36% compared with standard steel. High durability is also achieved by applying a hard alumite treatment. Used in combination with T227LW lightweight DJ CVD joint it is possible to reduce the weight by about 2g per driveshaft.
Narrower than kit standard (5mm). Aluminum hex wheel hub series. Width can be set more narrow.
When used on the front, it improves steering response. When used on the rear, it improves traction.
