ASIAN BUGGY CHAMPIONSHIP - PHILIPPINE MASTERS
CIRCULO VERDE TRACK, MANILA (PHILIPPINES)
1-4/05/2025
Kouki Kato wins the Philippine Masters: second straight ABC victory for the IFB8… In only his second appearance in the Asian Buggy Championships, Kouki Kato delivered a standout performance by taking the win at the Philippine Masters, one of the most prestigious events in the 1:8 offroad calendar.
Starting from third on the grid, the young Japanese driver ran a smart and controlled race. He steadily worked his way to the front and took the lead at the halfway mark, managing it confidently all the way to the finish. The result reflects both his growing maturity and the strength of the IFB8 platform.
Infinity’s previous outing in the series had been the season finale in Jakarta, where Kato claimed his first ABC win. On both occasions, Jakarta and Manila, Naoto Matsukura also put the IFB8 into the Amain final, further proving the consistency and competitiveness of the package.
For both drivers, the Philippine Masters was a debut appearance, making this result even more rewarding. It’s a quiet but proud moment for the team, acknowledging the focused work and steady progress behind the scenes.
